Bananas

banana_patch_small.jpg

Banana production at Pilale Bay Farms focuses primarily on Hawaiian apple bananas, with additional plantings of Williams and Cuban Red varieties. Multiple planting areas across the farm allow harvests to occur as individual bunches reach maturity throughout the year.

Plantings are managed using on-site organic material to build living soil, support plant health, and maintain productive growth as new areas are established.

Tree-ripened Cuban Red bananas at full maturity. Local production allows fruit to remain on the plant until peak development.
