Community Impact
Pilale Bay Farms is committed to giving back to the Maui community through food donations, volunteer work, and support for local land restoration efforts. Our goal is to contribute not only through agricultural production, but through direct action that supports community well-being and long-term land health.
Fresh produce from the farm is donated to the Maui Food Bank to help increase access to locally grown food for families in need. As production expands, these donations are intended to grow alongside the farm’s capacity, keeping a portion of our harvest dedicated to community support.
Food Donations
Volunteer & Land Restoration
Farm staff regularly participate in volunteer projects that support land restoration, soil building, and community improvement efforts across the island. In addition, wood chips and organic material from tree operations are donated to schools, community gardens, and restoration sites to support soil health and long-term land recovery.
